We are delighted to present to you the fifth issue of the GAS Analysis 2017 newsletter that will keep you updated about everything you want to know about the 9th International Gas Analysis Symposium & Exhibition. Don’t forget to register (also some good news in this newsletter). We look forward to meeting you in Rotterdam!

Global Forum

In our previous newsletter, we already informed you about the publication of, in our view, high-quality symposium programme with 60 lectures as well as 30 poster presentations. The lectures are divided in four sessions (two in parallel): "Process industry", "Health, safety and the environment", "Energy supply chain", and "Laboratory & process analysis". The programme is available at our website.

The lectures and poster presentations are given by experts from all over the world, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, China, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States of America. So, GAS Analysis 2017 is truly a global forum for knowledge sharing and building and gaining new ideas.

Opening lectures
We are delighted to announce that GAS Analysis 2017 will be opened with a speech by Rolf Brouwer, Managing Director of Gate Terminal, the first LNG import terminal of the Netherlands located at the Maasvlakte as part of the Port of Rotterdam. Gate Terminal recently celebrated the opening of their third berth and new special infrastructure for the loading of small LNG vessels (read press release).

After this opening speech, Adriaan van der Veen, Chairperson of ISO/TC 158 “Analysis of gases”, will demonstrate how international standards developed by this technical committee create impact by improving reliability and accuracy of results in his opening lecture.
Early-bird extended!
Good news for interested parties who would like to participate in GAS Analysis 2017, but did not yet register. The organization decided to extend the early-bird discount rate till 18 April 2017, acknowledging that our previous announcement of the opening of registration was already close to the initial deadline! Visit our Registration page for more information and the link to the online registration form. We also made a selection of hotels in the surroundings of the meeting venue in various luxury and price ranges and negotiated special rates.
Exhibition fully booked!
GAS Analysis 2017 also offers a 3-day exhibition covering over 1 000 m². Over the years, the exhibition floor has become a unique meeting point in this specific field of analysis of gases. We are very pleased that the exhibition floor is fully booked including the extra spots that have been created. With 35 companies exhibiting at GAS Analysis 2017, including several new companies from Asia, this year's edition promises to become an even better meeting place.
